Common questions

Who is performance testing suitable for?+
Our testing services are designed for elite and amateur athletes, recreational sportspeople, and non-professional sports teams. Whether you're training for your first event or competing at a high level, objective data helps you train smarter and progress faster.
Do I need to do all the tests?+
Not at all. You can select individual tests based on your sport and goals, or combine several into a full testing day. We'll help you decide which assessments are most relevant during an initial consultation.
How should I prepare for testing?+
General guidance includes arriving well rested, well hydrated, and having eaten normally in the days before. Avoid intense training in the 24–48 hours before your session. Specific preparation guidance will be provided when you book based on the tests you're completing.
Can you test a full sports team?+
Yes — we work with non-professional sports teams and can organise group testing days to assess multiple athletes efficiently. Get in touch to discuss your squad size, sport and testing requirements and we'll put together a suitable programme.
How does performance testing work alongside nutrition coaching?+
Testing and nutrition are most powerful when combined. Body composition data, VO2 max results and strength metrics directly inform how we periodise your nutrition plan. Many of our clients combine a testing day with one of our Performance Nutrition packages for a fully integrated approach.
